Directions from Braly to Cartersville:

Driving time is approximately 45 minutes. Driving directions:

1. Turn L out of Braly, go about 1/4 mile back toward GA-381.

2. Turn L onto Brooks Road, go 0.7 miles through a subdivision.

3. Turn L onto Old Cartersville Road, go 1.4 miles.

4. Take a sharp R onto Northside Church Road, go 0.4 miles.

5. Turn R onto GA-61 (Cartersville Highway), go 13-14 miles.

6. Turn R before small airport onto Old Alabama Road, go 1.8 miles.

7. Turn L at traffic light onto Douthit Ferry Road, go 1.4 miles (Cartersville Middle School on the left).

8. Turn L onto Pine Grove.

9. Turn L into the last Middle School entrance at the football field. The soccer complex is behind and to the right of the school football field.

Food:

• The Riverside Bakery & Cafe is located in the shopping center diagonally across from the Middle School off Pine Grove and Douthit Ferry. It received good reviews from several Academy members during a spring 2005 visit.
