Spring 2010 picture day: (April 14, 2010)  We thank Bobbi for her time, effort and skills (skill with the camera and skill herding 33 kids), and all our parents for making sure the girls wore their uniforms. "Winter Bomb" tournament: (February 21, 2010)  We congratulate all the girls for their effort, skill and enthusiasm in our (first annual?) Winter Bomb tournament. Team Bachman won the Atlanta Beat division championship, with team Heath finishing as runners up. Team O'Reilly won in a PK shootout over team Chalupny to claim the WPS division championship. All the girls earn a big "Yeah Baby!"

April 2009 - Marrowthon:  We thank everyone who participated in the Great American Soccer Marrowthon event. We had a huge turn-out for a worthwhile cause!

Spring 2009 - Lassiter field trip:  We thank the girls and their families for taking on the wet weather and coming out to watch the Lassiter Trojans girls varsity team play Woodstock. The game featured a bunch of NASA Academy alumni on both teams, while halftime featured current Academy girls playing a mini-game. Here are a couple of shots of our Academy girls hanging out with some of their NASA "sisters" post-game.

September 2006 - Atlanta Cup tournament:  The girls made it to the final of the 2006 Atlanta Cup tournament. In a wild roller-coaster of a championship match, NASA came back twice to send the game into OT, but lost by a goal in a penalty kick shootout. (Photo credits D. April 2006 - Kids vs. Parents spring break game:  The girls mounted a furious late comeback and tied the parents as time expired. While we weren't at the beach or another exotic spring break location, we still had plenty of fun! (Photo credits M. Mangum)

• Funwerx:  The Halls (Katherine's parents) have posted over 1000 photos taken during the 2005-06 year. You can view them on their website at www.funwerx.com/user.php. March 2005 - AFC Lightning Challenge Tournament:  The Silverbacks played some excellent soccer as they made it to the championship of the 2005 AFC Lightning Challenge tournament before falling to Atlanta United. (Photo credits T. Lewis)

November 2004 - TYSA Triumph Cup: The 'Backs played great team defense throughout the tournament, holding all four opponents scoreless. They won the championship of the U10 White division in a dramatic penalty kick shoot-out over AUSA after playing to a 0-0 tie in a muddy final.
