Academy World Cup: (May
8) We
thank the 70+ girls who played in the Academy "World Cup" event!
Each team included players from NASA's U12, U11 and U12 Academy
programs. We had a huge turn-out, the weather was wonderful,
fields were nice, and the skills and teamwork got better each game
as the girls adapted to new teammates.
A special thanks to the U12 and U11 girls who served as team captains: Brittany, Caroline, Chloe, Erin, MK, Sophie, Sydney and Kaitlyn. Beat seeks host families: (February
5)
The Atlanta Beat
is seeking host homes and families for players during the 2011
season, which will run from the beginning of March until the end of
August. The Beat will provide four season tickets in return. Link:

Beat home opener - Saturday, April 9th: (February
4)
The Atlanta Beat start
their 2011 season with a home game against the Boston Breakers on
Saturday April 9th. The game kicks off at 7 PM at the KSU /
Atlanta Beat stadium. Link: game
