Academy tryouts: Tryouts for next year's U12 Academy programs take place Tuesday, May 26th and Wednesday, May 27th. All current Academy players are invited to return next year without being required to tryout. But if you're in town, we'd like you to attend tryouts to help provide a high level of competition for next year's prospects. Girls who are age 11 as of July 31st, 2009 attend the U12 tryouts.
Register in advance: All returning and prospective NASA Academy players should register in advance for tryouts, even if they are unable to attend. (Returning players: the tryout registration system does not currently provide a way to transfer last year's tryout data, so you'll need to register.) Link: tryout registration

Academy Winter Workouts: If your daughter would like to keep up with regular training during the winter break, NASA offers its annual Academy Winter Workouts program during December and January. NASA’s Girls’ Director of Coaching, Eric Ritter, will lead the sessions, which are built around developing individual technical skills, and how to apply them to the game through the use of small sided games.
