The Kennesaw Charter School is near Kennesaw State University and Pinetree Country Club. We may occasionally use this is an alternate facility when our normal fields are closed. (This location was previously home to the Lockhart Academy.)
Footwear: Wear sneakers, not soccer cleats or turf shoes.
Driving time is normally 15 minutes from the United Quest Park clubhouse. Expect some delays during evening rush hour, though. Driving directions:
Take Chastain Road toward Kennesaw State University (KSU). Chastain isn't labeled in the above map, but it's the yellow road that starts on the right side and continues down to the bottom center of the map.
Continue on Chastain past KSU. You'll start down a hill as you pass KSU. Stay on Chastain until you start to climb a hill, then get in the right turn lane. You'll see Vulcan Materials on the left, and an industrial facility on the right.
Turn right at a traffic light at the top of the hill onto Big Shanty and go a short distance (100-200 yards) just past the industrial facility.
Turn right onto Lockhart Drive and go a short distance (another 100-200 yards), then turn left into the upper parking lot of the school. The lot is between an open field and the main school building. Walk down between the two trailers at the back right of the parking lot to reach the gym.
Update from September, 2009: A bridge near the school was damaged by flooding. Please use the above directions, not the ones below.

of the hill onto Big Shanty Road.
Continue on Big Shanty for
just under 0.5 miles. Turn left at a stop sign onto
McCollum Parkway. There's a GA Mountain Water tower on the left side, and
Pinetree Country Club on the right.
Make an immediate right onto Lockhart Drive.
The school is 0.3
miles down Lockhart on the right. Park in the lot
just after you pass the school,
then walk down between the two trailers at the back right of the parking lot to reach the gym.
