Soccer is back!
The WPS
league
kicks off in March, 2009. Check it out and watch the best women players
in the world. Atlanta has been awarded a franchise for the 2010 season,
and rumors have them playing their home games in Cobb in the KSU
area.

KSU
Owls bring "D1" soccer to Cobb: We
encourage you to check out the Kennesaw
State Owls women's team. KSU is an NCAA Division 1 (D1) school;
the team features several NASA alumni.
The Owls play 10 home games this fall (schedule link), starting with a special exhibition match against the Mexico Women's National Team on August 23rd. KSU plays at the beautiful and fan-friendly field off Chastain Road and Frey Road at the main entrance into KSU. |

Smith Soccer: Kelly is a high-scoring forward for the Philadelphia Charge in the WUSA
(she scored a nice goal against the Atlanta Beat in the playoffs). She's also a member of the England women's national team. |
